OFC Creations Theatre Center Promoting the Grand Opening of Their New Location in Brighton!

(WHAM, Michael Schwartz) -- On Tuesday morning, signage was put up on the new OFC Creations Theatre Center in Winton Plaza.

The theater opened its doors on Monday for OFC Creations' theatre camp. OFC Creations says it is the largest summer theater camp program in upstate New York.

OFC has used the Kodak Center, Nazareth College, East End Theatre and most recently the Lyric Theatre. Now OFC has its own space in this new theatre that has a 56-foot stage and 260 seats.

No shows are being performed there right now due to the pandemic, but it looks to host many events in the near future. To meet safety guidelines, some rehearsals met outside, as seen below.

“This new center is exactly what our students, artists, and audiences need right now,” said Eric Johnson, OFC founder. “The center is ideal for expanding our already growing programming and allows for us to connect and partner with many more community arts organizations.”

OFC Creations started in 2005 to offer artistic, creative and engaging opportunities for theatergoers, performers, and students of all ages.
