She is a nationally award-winning communications professional with 26 years experience in journalism, public relations, and social media. She has earned awards in writing, news releases, blogging, and PR and online campaigns. She has worked extensively with local and national media, securing lead features in The New York Times, Forbes, Wired, and The Wall Street Journal and on ABC World News, CBS News Sunday Morning, and NPR. Dresden holds a master’s degree in communication and a bachelor’s degree in journalism and theater.
She is adjunct college professor and a popular speaker at events and conferences.

Marketing and Fundraising Consultant
Sarah has worked as a professional fundraiser and marketer for more than a decade. As associate director of the Central Annual Fund Office of the University of Rochester, she managed all aspects of direct mail campaigns for the 10 community-based units, including Strong Memorial Hospital, Memorial Art Gallery, Highland Hospital, and Wilmot Cancer Center. As director of the Fisher Fund at St. John Fisher College she directed all aspects of the multi-platform annual fund and led the Fisher Fund to more than $1 million raised annually. Sarah holds a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications and just completed a four-year term as a board member for the Northeast Annual Giving Conference.
Renee is the owner of immaginé Photography and has been aligned with Dresden since founding the first Young Professionals organization at George Eastman Museum in the early 2000s. She actively shoots throughout the Rochester region and among her favorites clients are YMCA of Greater Rochester, Geva Theatre Center, and Visit Rochester. In addition to special events, Renee also specializes in portraits and commercial photography. She holds degrees in photography and graphic design and her work background includes financial services, retail management, and hospitality. She is a founder of the networking organization Femfessionals LLP.
Lead Videographer & Editor
Shawn earned his BFA in Film & Animation from the Rochester Institute of Technology. His expertise lies in videography and editing as well as sound and lighting.He has worked on indie films, industrial videos, music videos, and TV commercials, for a variety of clients including George Eastman House, Indus Hospitality Group (Microtel, Taco Bell, and KFC), and the Buffalo Bills. His most recent national film project included cinematography for a documentary being produced byRobert Redford and he currently is creating a documentary about the life of silent-°©‐film actress Louise Brooks. Shawn is also a comedian and stage actor.
PR & amp; Social Media Coordinator
Rachel heads up social media management for Dresden PR and our clients, including market research, coordination of social-media platforms, and creation and curation of content. She studied interpersonal communications at SUNY Brockport, coupled with African-American and gender studies. Rachel has led campaigns for Jordan Health and High Falls Film Festival and spearheads events for DPR, putting to work her many years of experience with special-events catering and event coordination.
Paul worked for nearly two decades as a TV director and producer for PBS affiliate WXXI, where a program he directed was nominated for an Emmy. Projects included historical documentaries, sporting events, corporate announcements, educational programs, and a lecture series shot on location at the White House. He holds a bachelor's degree in broadcast communication and a master's degree in education.
